That’s what the raised dots on the F and J keys are for!
(Of all the things I learned in junior high school, I make use of touch-typing
the most. When I worked as a closed-captioner way back when, I remember getting
effusive praise from a couple of my supervisors for how fast I was on a QWERTY
keyboard, specifically the numbers/punctuation marks on the top row.)
