Our numbers of cases (nor deaths) are nowhere near as those in the US, but
they are still on the horrible upswing. Each day, our media routine has
developed into the same groove (below). Live coverage on cbcnews.ca,
ctvnews.ca and CPAC youtube channel (I learned today that CPAC does not do
live translation). Daily schedule (by memory)
- ~11am Prime Minister Trudeau speaks
- ~noon - federal health (CDC-like) and health minister speaks
~ 1pm - Ontario and Quebec Premiers speak
~ 2 through 6pm each other province does their daily briefing. BC is
usually last, being on the left coast. Sometimes Alberta goes after BC.

Today's Trudeau talk is at the link below. I've advanced the link to the
start of it. As an exercise for the readers in USA, it is an interesting
'contrast and compare' exercise to those senior-leader briefings from
Washington DC.

If you are in the US and noticed that Trump said yesterday to 3M to stop
shipping masks to Canada... well that created a major story in Canada. It
has been addressed daily by both Trudeau and Doug Ford (Ontario). As much
as Doug Ford *had* been behaving like a right-winger, I find that he has
shown he is more human/Canadian than Trumpian.

Stay safe everyone. Stay home. Wash hands. And assume everyone else
(including yourself) is infected.
