It made sense to do that. It made me wonder, now there is a completely unaired segment or two with Key; the next time Colbert is in re-runs, will he run that instead of something we have already seen? Which then made me think, could Late night shows just start doing extra segments with guests to use during rerun weeks, perhaps intentionally with more evergreen material?
