Re: MacBeth

I own multiple versions, some better, others worse. This latest version of
MacBeth feels ham-fisted, the sort of thing somebody who wanted to mock PBS
would point to as an example of the elite nonsense they subsidized back
when I was a kid (“oooh, it’s in black and white, so it must be artsy!”).
There was some decent acting, but there was also a lot of overacting. And
to me the real star of MacBeth is Lady MacBeth, and that star didn’t shine
for me in this version.
