We will see what they actually announce, but this would be consistent with the moves they have made so far. Three keys to understanding the new Warner Brothers Discovery company seem to be:
1. They have to find 3 BILLION dollars of cuts 2. They are using all other assets to enhance Discovery, which is what they see as their main identity (and profit center) 3. They have to find 3 BILLION dollars of cuts. I can see a near future in which HBO is still available for streaming, but is not a streaming service. HBO would be the main home for live action programming. Most everything else the company does will mostly be non fiction programming, or animation. HBO and CNN will be accessed by going through Discovery+, driving traffic to what now will be the Mothership.
