Born 76 years ago in NYC, Diane Pine had that professional name suggested 
to her by songwriter/producer Bob Crewe because it "sounded British." Among 
many roles were as one of "Mudd's Women" with her next-door neighbour Roger 
C. Carmel in the inaugural season of "Star Trek (TOS)."
