The Golden Globes will be televised on Tues. Jan. 10 under a one-year
contract between NBC, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association and the

The Tuesday telecast date is due to NBC's Sunday Night Football commitments
on the 8th and avoiding a conflict with ESPN/ABC's college football
championship tournament on the 9th.
