The union is scheduled to hold elections this year, and an independent slate of members including Elliott Gould (OK), Diane Ladd (OK), Dr. Drew (oy) and rightwing wacko Rob Schneider (you must be joking) are going after president Fran Drescher and her Unity slate, claiming that Drescher and secretary-treasurer Joely Fisher have not done enough to improve the lot of their members:
