Besides the WGA strike, the delay was caused by remodeling Studio 6A in 30 Rock, former home of Dave, Conan and East Coast Jimmy--they're hoping that Ms. Clarkson will be able to attract the other inhabitants of the building to make appearances but plan to keep things much the same as when they were at Universal City, unfortunately probably including those stupid infomercial segments that I'm sure bring much-needed ad revenue and those plugs for her "friends at Comcast/Xfinity" (bosses, Kelly, bosses):
