I’m gonna be honest: she creeped me out when I saw The Shining at much too young an age, and I was absolutely creeped out by every aspect of the Popeye movie she costarred in. I was never able to appreciate her talents after that. I’m told she was a nice person. I’m sure she was talented. But I just couldn’t.
