The Writers Guild made a proposal to the public network in July calling for union representation for children's animation writers (a rare thing for that genre), fair pay, new media rights and streaming residuals--no response from the net and if no response by Thursday night, there will be picket lines Friday morning at WNET New York (which brands themselves now as "The Thirteen Group," after their channel number), WGBH Boston (now branded as just "GBH") and KOCE LA (branded "PBS SoCal"):
