A plaintiff in Wa(r)shington State bought a package of episodes of a forgotten Nick series earlier this year for just over $20, but when the show's license from Paramount expired, it went *poof*... yes, they tell you a title can be "bought," but fine print during the "purchase" process says you receive a limited license and agree(d) to their terms... she's bringing a class-action, even though a similar case is already before another court *and* a recent California law requires sellers to obtain buyer acknowledgement of buying a revocable license: https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/business/business-news/prime-video-lawsuit-movie-license-ownership-1236353127/ (link) B
