I believe you're thinking of Sydney Sweeney, who starred in Euphoria and has
hosted SNL.Sabrina Carpenter has been the musical guest, but Saturday was her
first time as host.  She did appear in the 50th anniversary special, which may
have been mentioned already.  She also sang with Quinta Brunson when the Abbott
Elementary star did her SNL monologue. She also did a Christmas special for one
of the streamers.DavidSent on my Samsung Galaxy S20 FE

Sabrina Carpenter Oh, she has been on the show before, besides just said
singing with Paul Simon at 50th anniversary? I guess I miss or don’t remember
that. At first, I thought she was that young woman. I’m not sure how to
describe her except for they made a lot of jokes about her having big boobs and
I think she had been in one of the HBO shows maybe euphoria or that kind of
resort hotel show but then I realize that that other woman and I don’t think is
a singer, While carpenter is. The analogy to Timberlake is pretty good,
although while I’m too old to even really be in the demo for him, he was on my
radar from an early age because my daughters were right in the *NSYNC target
demo and I early on could tell that of the five of them Justin was the one that
had the actual talent. So I enjoy Timberlake on SNL in a way that I can only
surmise from the reactions of others better equipped to judge that carpenter is
similarly talented.Sent from Gmail MobileOn Tue, 21 Oct 2025 at 1:09 PM Tom

cameos.On Mon, Oct 20, 2025 at 9:58 PM Kevin M. <[email protected]>

explain most of the monologue and some of the sketches, And both of her songs.
I’m not critical of her. She was a perfectly likable young lady, And of course,
the point of SNL is to make old people feel like they don’t understand young
people, but that the show does understand young people. It’s just interesting
to me that I’m way past saying to myself “SNL is not as funny as they used to
be” And I’m more like “Can somebody please translate this into English for
me?”Sent from Gmail Mobile
