So the Press Office should actually generate content, which all 
stations/groups could somehow be compelled to provide on all levels? It 
wouldn't surprise me if it happened, as it's easy to conclude the 
administration is bent on getting its message, regardless of *(ahem)* popular 
perception, out to as many people as possible.

That said, they may have decided that their principal outlet is (still) 
social media.

have the White House press secretary, produce A lot of coverage and deliver 
all news reports on the American president.
