The gist I got from the OG* was that Rockford's ass was grass from jump, and it only remained to be seen when his enemies would put him into a near-death sitch in some hospital. Maybe David B's Rockford will be a little more cunning, and outfox the opposition in more exciting, and more importantly, late-2020s contemporary ways (what UTV wanted to do with the Magnum revival, maybe?) No update on financing from FilmLA, apparently. B *Granted, I was a teen at the time, and couldn't completely relate not only to these types of dramas, but frankly anything outside of live sports
Kevin M, to moi, Feb 22nd: Los Angeles was as much of a character in the original series as James Garner. If they want to produce a detective series filmed in Atlanta starring Boreanaz, go for it. Give him a gold Trans Am if they absolutely must. But they can't call it The Rockford Files because it isn't. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TVorNotTV" group.
