Launch Services Proton M/Breeze M rocket is scheduled to launch 
SES-1 communications 
satellite for SES WORLD SKIES, from Launch Pad 39, Baikonur Cosmodrome, 
Kazakhstan.

Launch is scheduled for 7:19 
p.m. EDT.

Spacecraft Separation is approximately 8 hours 
and 58 minutes after liftoff

SES-1, built Orbital Sciences Corporation, Dulles, Va has 24 C & Ku-Band 
transponders and will replace AMC-2 
and AMC-4 at 101° west longitude

Satellite Broadcast coverage:

AMC-3 at 87°W, Transponder 16C (40200 Vertical) Analog

Test signals begin about 6:30 PM EDT
Broadcast 
starts about 7 PM EDT
