I'm trying to keep a list of who is working on what here... Since I don't
really have anything current, and since we just had a small nightmare with
win32 support (which is now resolved with a frustratingly obvious fix that
we'll be kicking ourselves over for weeks to come), things have kinda
gotten a bit jumbled.

Here's what NEEDS doing before release:

  mdfour.c
It's been committed, but the glue hasn't been put into place yet.

  Command line +set processing
It happens too late to be any good, a special function needs to be
    written for the job.

  Global config file support
Code needs to be written to load an external file which may contain
system defaults. This is very important for Linux users especially.

  Website updates
I know which are critical and which aren't. If you want to help with
those that are, talk to me and we'll figure something out. Otherwise
I'll work on it this week.

So from each person, I'd like to know what you're working on now if
anything, and what you'd like to work on next. Please have a look at the
TODO list if you would.

  |Rain|
Rain is working on Win32 stuff with mingw right now. He reports that
it does compile at this point, but I am unsure as to the extent of his
changes to get it to do so. It segs immediately at the moment. He's
also working on linear model interpolation in QW, which as we all know
    is no small task.

  LordHavoc
No idea - probably off playing Diablo 2. ;) We gotta send this guy
to Diabloholics Anonymous or something. Today is his birthday BTW.
I don't know if he's got any definite plans or not, just a few things
I'd like him to work on when he gets a chance that aren't as important
    as other things right now.

  Knghtbrd
I've been working myself frantic lately and I'm beginning to show some
serious signs of fatigue. Most of what I'm working on or planning to
work on is not release critical, and that's intentional. I need a bit
of a break. Here's what's on my plate:

    - SDL sound works in -nq, but has latency issues and other buglets.
Porting to QW is trivial if not for these issues. Will commit when
      it works better.

    - Frosty, our irc bot, is currently down because he's braindead. I'll
be cleaning up what code he has a bit, ripping out some ugliness,
and committing him to CVS for other people to pick at. I won't have
      time for awhile.

    - I've "crippled" viewsize to control only the size of the status bar.
This works fine at fov 125, but at fov 90 in -nq and -qw with the
classic status bar, the gun is all but hidden. Priority on this has
thus been lowered to the absolute bottom of my list. I may commit a
subset of the patch which is a bit smarter about the status bar.

    - Website stuff:
      - Downloads for common files such as qwprogs.dat, overkill.qwd,
        bigass1.dem, shareware quake, etc.
      - CVS snapshots page and cronjob
      - Links to other projects
      - Brief instructions for using CVS in win32 and unix
      - List of classic quake bugs (and our fixes for them)
      - Update/rewrite my devel walkthroughs and tutorials and commit
      - Release page
      - Survey page(?)

    - My 16x16 Targa font is probably unsuitable for use in our legacy
stuff, but I can (and should) convert it to a proper Quake-style
font and write the necessary support.

    - SDLify the code a bit more

  Coderjoe
Coderjoe is working on MySQL. I've asked him to coordinate with Rain
a bit on this front since Rain has some code that is very close to
what we need MySQL for the most - website news. He may also be
    working on Frosty a bit.

  Tomaz
No idea - Tomaz is still a bit dazed and confused. He's still very
new to CVS and is not comfortable working much with the code until the
archetectural changes slow down a bit.

  TiamaT
No idea - we believe he may have been carted off to an institution for
the mentally unstableafter the win32 dynamic OpenGL stuff drove him
    insane.

  Mercury
No idea - he hasn't been feeling real well lately, plus he's also been
involved with the frantic nightmare TiamaT and I have been regarding
    OpenGL and win32 besides.

  zinx
Zinx has absolutely no idea what he's doing right now, with the
exception of making idle plans for the assasination of the person who
decided to cripple his ISP with a 5 hour connection limit. If the guy
is reading this now, I'd suggest making out a will, fast. Probably
will work on Frosty whenever I clean him up a little and put the
    result into CVS.

Please send me updates.
