Log message:
Since Mercury is busy playing with particles, someone had to fix bmodels.
That would be me. I didn't test the mtex+nocombine case, but I think I
recall Mercury telling me that he didn't do overbright for that case for
all the reasons we agreed that it should be done with texenv combine.
