Mr.Ashish,

Address book and White list are different concepts related to mail application.

Address book is an application which has by default capabilities of
understanding and organizing only contacts (email address, email groups, names
and addresses ) according to your needs. This is an enhancement or at times
requirement for your e-mail client .

A SPAM Filter (with whitelist and blacklist in our case) is a mail-processing
technique before it reaches users' mailbox. The SPAM filter application
categories the mail and directs to our mail folders, before it reaches to our
mail box. Whitelist is a category in SPAM filtering. This is required to allow
mail to your mailbox only from people you require. For rest other mail ID's if
a SPAM filter is installed it prompts for a whitelist or blacklist.

Apologies if you are already aware of this.

Thank you

Mahen
