Hi all: i tried attaching an IBM USB mouse to the compaq laptop and the following errors are seen in 'dmesg' output.
first attempt usb 3-2: new low speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 6 usb 3-2: device descriptor read/64, error -71 replugged the USB connector usb 3-2: new low speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 9 usb 3-2: device not accepting address 9, error -71 on a system reboot the mouse is detected, works fine and then again the same errors are seen. The laptop is running OpenSuSe 10.2. Any suggestions on what i could be missing here ? thanks Saifi.
