HI All! I will add to that description that Seelan had given.
1> If I use an installation CD that does not use the LiveCD the installation completes but the reboots fails at the stage where it tries detecting the HDD ( It is some SATA but shows up in the system as SCSI). 2> LiveCDs never boot at all. 3> The same model is supported with RedFlag Linux in China. 4> Solaris does get installed but we are not too conversant users of it. Shifting is beng impeded owing to the convinence of Linux. :) Regards, Navneet
