hi all, I am using Fedora 7. I am unable to start my MySQL database.
whenever i try to login i get the following error: ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2) i try to enter using the given command: mysql -u root -p how should i proceed?? can anyone throw some light on it. Regards, nikhil
