Dear Hasib

I think if you would like to start kernel programming, the following 
guide is good for getting started.

http://www.tldp.org/LDP/lkmpg/2.6/html/index.html (This is for 2.6)
http://www.tldp.org/LDP/lkmpg/2.4/html/index.html (This is for 2.4)

Once you are comfortable with the above then you can slowly shift to the bible 
for device drivers titled "Linux Device Driver" by Rubini. This book is easily 
available in local shops.
The third edition talks about the 2.6 kernel, while the second about the 2.4
