Hi all:

We had working hard to get in features on the website that would
make access easy and interaction fun.

Quicklinks
A simple url to help you access the item of choice.

 Events Calendar http://events.twincling.org/
 Photo Gallery http://photos.twincling.org/
 Community Wiki http://wiki.twincling.org/
 RSS Feeds Aggregation http://planet.twincling.org/

Drupal Installation
A single Drupal 6.1 (PHP, MySQL) installation powers the website
http://www.twincling.org/ and all related services. The system upgrades
and database migration and enhancement has been completed.

Authentication
Extensible authentication with OpenID. If you have an OpenID, then you
can automatically login to twincling.org account and participate in
discussions. Offcourse, you can still create an account on twincling.org
if you want to. (thanks to Satish)

Your Profile
As a authenticated user, you can add your photos (96x108 pixels in JPG,
PNG or GIF format) to your profile. This helps people know you and have
better interactions (thanks to Uma).

Editor integrated
FCKEditor has been integrated in the Drupal installation. This makes
adding content, photos, links a breeze. It's a cross platform editor
and you don't have to worry about typing in HTML code. (thanks to Uma).

Upcoming Event
Until recently, we had a Twitter badget (Flash) placed on top left of
the page. The badge had a flash dependency. We've replaced that with
AJAX based component (thanks to Vivek).

Wiki
Wiki has been integrated into the core website to simplify access,
authentication, content unification. All content (pages, books, polls)
is 'editable' and 'commentable' by a authenticated user. Feel free to
create or build on any topic. (thanks to Namita)

About Us
The 'About Us' section has been repurposed to highlight the key
activities of the Society, Point of View, the Team, FAQs and present
statutory details for a 'not-for-profit' organization.

Planet TWINCLING
This is your single service/page to keep updated about the technical
developments and thought leadership in the Open Source space. You can
also select your category of interest. If you use a blog reader, you
can even pull the syndicated blog. (thanks to Alolita)

RSS Feeds
Here are the URLs you can use in your blog reader.

Tags
A vocabulary of Open Source related tags is being developed.
If you would like to contribute to that, please leave a comment.

Feel free to post in your comments and suggestions on how we can even do
better.

thanks
Saifi.
