http://hehe2.net/linux-general/the-7-habits-of-highly-effective-linux-users/
Waiting eagerly for a set in Nokia with Linux http://www.ciol.com/content/21508106248.aspx ... :) The habit one has been enforced in Ubuntu (possibly other debians) for as long as I have used it - coming from the RH world I had found it rather annoying in the beginning! :) Good to see the way it is discouraged in Suse with fuse bombs! ;)) Will be trying Slack 12.1 shortly - habit 5!!! :) I had seen the use gksu but helps to know its purpose. I used the plain sudo on most occasions! :) As for habit 3 - I usually prefer having a symbolic link in the home directory into a working directory on a different partition keeping all my stuff within it - sharing the /home itself causes a lot of problems!!! This way I can share the same between distros. Also when upgrading to a newer version creating a new home directory helps sometimes! :) *R*aising *S*kinny *E*lephants *I*s *U*tterly *B*oring is a gr8 mnemonic! ;) I keep forgetting the keys - this helps greatly! :)) Trying the habit 7 with my experimentation on accessibility on Linux! :) *Anybody knows if a virtualization technique allows u to boot the other partitions on your system as a virtual system.* -- Have a nice day, Mynk
