*sudo pppoeconf*
it would open interactive pppoe configuration tool, text based..
enter the requested information, and your internet would start working.

example:

sudo pppoeconf
[email protected]
urpassword


after this:
*sudo pon-dslprovider* for switching on the net
*sudo poff-dslprovider* for turning it off
*plog* to see the connection status, dynamic dns servers and error messages
*ifconfig* to see if ppp0 connection status, indicatign that ip is assigned
and net can be accessed
