[citation needed] Where is the recommendation that "tolerant" applications recognize lone LF for these protocols? Re-skimming the RFCs now, they all seem to mandate CR LF. (Also: is there a recommendation elsewhere that delineates between tolerant and intolerant applications?) -glyph
