They didn't look encrypted, but there sure were a lot of them :).
I am writing an application which transfer data between clients which are
connected to a server using either UDP or TCP.

You're certainly in the right place with regard to Twisted itself - although this might not be the right list. If you're dealing with UDP and non-HTTP TCP traffic, you probably want twisted- [EMAIL PROTECTED], not twisted-web.
After making some progress in the development, I realized that I would be
better off using TwistedMatrix instead of re-inventing the wheel.

I wish more people reached that conclusion :-).
So I looked at
http://twistedmatrix.com/projects/core/documentation/howto/index.html and
could not get the information from the samples.

I would be glad if one can draw the lines of how to get a bytes stream from
client A and 'transmit' it to client B

Your question is actually a FAQ. http://twistedmatrix.com/trac/wiki/FrequentlyAskedQuestions#HowdoImakeinputononeconnectionresultinoutputonanother

Please let us know if the answer to the FAQ could be improved or made easier to find somehow.
