To answer my own question, I've got Colorbox 
<http://www.jacklmoore.com/colorbox>to work. By inserting a bit of script 
and the correct .js and .css files from their zip, I've got the 
functionality of lytebox working in an html5 environment. Hope this helps 
someone else!
