Hi, I was thinking of a twitter app where a user would sign in with OAuth to verify that he is the intended user. The app would use 'read only' access type as it doesn't really need to post anything.
Now with read-only access, the app can read one's tweets, mentions, protected friends' tweets & most importantly direct messages. I consider Direct messages to be personal and wouldn't like some app to be able to read them. Isn't this a privacy issue? Is there some way I can control what an application can read from my account?
