こちらで試してみると、
0b93975ae05abc1e61742d1a80bc3b58ed710b83
の時点で既に正しく表示されていないようです。
"r"の処理の部分で
(when (and in-reply-to-string url)
のwhen節が直前のifのelse部分に含まれていて、
(twittering-timeline-spec-is-direct-messages-p spec)が真の
場合にはurlが文字列として出力されていました。

> コメント(FIXME)あたりは修正する必要があるのかなと思います。
とりあえずdirect messageの場合にrecipient-screen-nameを
in-reply-to-screen-nameに置き換えないようにして
修正しておきました。
