It does work and it is described in our wiki at http://wiki.overbyte.be/wiki/index.php/FAQ._Microsoft_.NET_framework I know because I have several customers where I did exactly this. If you need for Compact Framework you should use something else such as RemObjects IP Pack but for C# in Windows do it as the wiki describes. ICS rules! :)
