Can anybody suggest which controls to use and how so that I can build a simple p2p chat app that communicates over SSL?
ICS include a very basic chat application which can easily be recompiled with SSL enabled. See OverbyteIcsTWSChat project in Delphi/Internet folder where you installed ICS.
