Hi Francois, Thanks for the help - unfortunately the problem only occurs rarely. Do you think I should increase the timeout? I am using SslContext1 and SslHttpCli1 - are there other timeouts I need to be concerned with besides SslHttpCli1->Timeout?

You should instrument your program with madExcept or similar product so that you get a stack trace and other informations when the exception occurs. You'll then probably quickly find the cause. madExcept is free for non-commercial use and not expensive at all for commercial use. I use it with great success for years.
