The International School on Rewriting (ISR) will be held on 12-16 July 2026, in Nijmegen, the Netherlands.

This school -- which is aimed at Master and PhD students -- consists of two tracks:

 * basic track: a comprehensive introductory course to first-order term
rewriting accompanied with exercise sessions, for participants
without previous exposure to term rewriting. This course ends with
an exam, and passing students will receive a certificate, to be
   credited by their home universities.
 * advanced track: a series of more advanced courses on recent
developments and applications, for participants with some experience
   in the area.

Accommodation and catering will be provided. The school is held in the week before FLoC, and there will be sufficient time to get to Lisbon before the first workshop day.

At this time, we are estimating interest in order to set the price and fix the planning. If you are interested in potentially participating in this school, please let us know which track you would be interested in, and any questions you may have. (This is also relevant if you are not at all sure yet -- we would like to have a rough estimate.)

We are looking into providing scholarships for students without their own funding, but cannot make any promises at this point. If your participant would be contingent on funding or a discount, please let know as well, so we can communicate this to potential sponsors.

Cynthia Kop and Femke van Raamsdonk.
