Dear all,

We are co-organizing a week of workshops about Functional Programming in
Paris, between Monday August 24th and Friday August 28th, 2026.
Registration is mandatory but free, and the organization is home-made: a
fun event to start the academic year.

  (registration is free and _mandatory_)

The following events will take place:

- Monday: the OCaml Workshop
- Monday: the HOPE workshop (Higher-Order Programming with Effects)
- Tuesday morning: talks for academic beginners à la "Mentoring Workshop"
- mornings of Wednesday and Thursday: the TyDe workshop (Type-Driven
Development)
- afternoons of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday: a watching party for talks
given at the ICFP conference in Indianapolis (we will only see talks given
in the Indianapolis morning).
- Friday: the ML workshop (as in: programming languages descending from
Robin MiLner's work.)

Note: the dates coincide with the week of ICFP'26 (

in being present in both venues. We of course encourage those of you who
are able and willing to attend ICFP in-person in Indianapolis to do so.
