Hi all,
I am trying to get an image from some remote web site into an IMAGE
object. Something basic like
lib.myimage = IMAGE
lib.myimage.file = http://www.somesite.com/someimage.jpg
failed. Not surprisingly I must admit. I then tried different things
like using the "import" property of the imgResource function, but to
no avail. Looking at the source code didn't give me much hope
(methods like t3lib_TStemplate::getFileName() seem to be able to get
file paths only from inside the TYPO3 installation).
Is there any way of achieving this?
