Hey, Not sure this is even where I'm supposed to ask - but I will give it whirl;
according to the documentation http://typo3.org/fileadmin/typo3api-4.0.0/df/d32/classtslib__pibase.html#7eb95e37e2dc30a8872e61d0c5870212 $this->pi_getPageLink(30) should return something like "index.php?id=30" After much testing it seems that it will refuse to make a link pointing to pages the current user does not have viewing rights to, and will in this case instead return a empty string. Before I set about reinventing the wheel is there a way to get proper page links regardless of the users ability to actually view the page?
