Has anyone managed to transfer a Typo3 site from Windows to Linux in it's entirety?
We started out evaluating Typo3 V4.0.2 on a Windows XP machine and got a little carried away. Once we got a working site up and running, the boss asked us to go live with it. Having it run on a Windows laptop rather than a proper webserver makes me a little jumpy. I would like to transfer the entire thing over to my Linux webserver. I have installed Typo3 V 4.2.1 on my webserver and would like to move the entire site over but I'm not having any luck at all. I followed as many instructions as I could in terms of backing up my tree as well as the MySQL data but I've been unsuccessful in getting the site up and running. I've had no problems getting Typo3 up and running on the Linux server, but i've been unable to migrate my data. I would greatly appreciate hearing any advice that anyone might have. -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/Migrating-from-Windows-to-Linux-tp19613959p19613959.html Sent from the TYPO3 English mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ TYPO3-english mailing list [email protected] http://lists.netfielders.de/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/typo3-english
