I have tried to upgrade both tx_seminars and typo3 (4.5.8). I'm still
getting an error. Anyone have a hint on how to fix it?

At the moment its not a good idea to use the current version of seminars
with TYPO3 4.6., but it should (not tested) work with 4.5.
