Hi Paul,
thank you for your answers :)
I got it working combining two things; all rights to the public for
typo3temp folder recursively and Plesk cron jobs have several weird
things that had to be configured for a hosting client. But it works now.

I don't have any experience with the hoster you are using, but maybe it
would help trying out "sudo"?

Hi Paul,
Yes I have 775. The cron is run as the ftp user, but the problem is
that the ftp user is like "public" in this case and the public can't
write to the TYPO3 folders. The power user for typo3 is apache, as set
in installation chown -R apache:apache typo3temp.

Hi Katja,
which permissions did you set for typo3temp? 775 should do the job.

Hi,
First time with scheduler and I have troubles setting it up in plesk
virtual hosting server.
I get the scheduler task run manually with the shell script like in
manual says:
/usr/local/bin/php /home/bob/www/typo3/cli_dispatch.phpsh scheduler
but the problem is when I create a cron job in plesk admin panel for
this user, it seems it's a problem because the user is not allowed to
write in typo3temp. If I try to change the permissions of the
typo3temp so that the owner is the user and group apache, the site
doesn't work.
Any idea how to solve this? I guess opening the typo3temp for everyone
to write is not a secure option?
