I've discussed it with the release manager of 4.7 (Steffen Ritter) and
he agreed on having this backport. I can also take care of the backport.
Next I'll contact the RMs of 4.6 and 4.5 to see if they think it can go
in their releases too.
Thanks a lot for putting your head into this. Even Christian says its
gonna be difficult, I hope its not too much work. If you need testing
installs just send me a note, I have the galleria extension and some
more installs where I can test the behaviour.
