Most likely your update is incomplete (you did not change several files) or
some kind of PHP cache still holds old copies of the files.
Try to restart your webserver and makes sure that you changes all files
(e.g. by using symlinks).

Thanks for your response.
Changes are made with a symlink to the new directory for version 4.7.7
What puzzles me is that the error occurs on line 0.
