You can do this via your webserver configuration (e.g. .htaccess in case of
apache).
With 6.0 you can use any path as filemount.

I can mod_rewrite incoming links to the target file, but how do I tell TYPO3 to output links to files on pages in that rewritten way (like RealURL does with pages)?
