Hi,
I'm making an update from 6.1 to 6.2. First I copied the system and made
some modifications to the new system. Also I wanted to fix the few red
alerts in install tool (permission things) so I did what the install
tool suggested me to do (chmod).
In install tool I ended with nicely green indicators that everything is
perfect, but when I went to the fileadmin, all the subdirectories and
files had disappeared! Only root directories are there but nothing inside.
Seems like a real killer that TYPO3 does this wiping out all the
resources without any warnings.
To prevent happening this again I need to inspect what caused this. What
are your suggestions/recommendations? Thank you.
