Yes there is an extension you can use to do that job.
This is "external import" :

First of all you need to export your data from the Wordpress database in CSV or
in XML and next configure external import with TCA (override them in
YourExt/Configuration/TCA/Overrides/tx_news_domain_model_news.php).
With external_import, you can re-create the news, format data, generate link
with other tables, etc.
