Have you looked at fw_printenv? I get output like this from it: root:~> fw_printenv bootargs=root=/dev/mtdblock0 rw console=ttyBF0,115200 bootcmd=run flashboot bootdelay=2 Email me direct if you want my notes on setting it up.
