Your additions should go to the top of the file, with '-' place holders for both commit ID and date (as we cannot know in advance when they will get merged into mainline). You are also supposed to check if older commits which still have place holders might have made it in to mainline, and if so, replace these by the respective commit IDs and dates. Yes, this is a bit cumbersome, but not too much. Thanks.
