I have looked at several i.MX6 boards, and it seems like the ones with RAM Disk options have this parameter. I am sure what distro boot is. That kernel size feels small. I defined the kernel to 8m based on the vast majority of the other i.MX6 boards, but I can see your point. I think I will just aim high and go for 16.
