Sounds *very* like permissions - usual checks (as Win2K3 is more strict than Win2K)
Try logging in as "local administrator" (not domain) - is this still a problem? Log in via a telnet session and compile the program concerned as the user concerned - do you get a problem? If so does it go away for "local administrator"? Lastly login on the console as the user concerned and open a UV shell - compile the program..... Most likely suspects: TEMP or some variant of the TEMP directory structures - I seem to recall that inheritance of permissions to sub-directories needs to be explicitly set in Win2K3. Otherwise - there is a Windows 2K3 deployment for RedBack - it's on the 2003 Tech Support Survival kit if you have access to a copy? Where you able to compile and save on that version of Windows ? Perhaps you are having a permissions problem.
